Junior R&D Developer/Innovation - Biopolymer Compounds
The Junior R&D Developer/Innovation reports hierarchically to the Product Development/Innovation Manager. He/she supports research projects focused on biopolymer compounding by working with R&D team. He/she makes detailed observations, performs laboratory analyses, interprets results and prepares technical reports and quantitative analyses related to the project.
Main Activities:
- Modification of existing products
- Product and process optimization
- Definition of product specifications
- Special laboratory analysis
Requirements of the position:
- Master’s degree in chemistry/Industrial Chemistry;
- 0-3 years of experience;
- Good English language skills, both writing and speaking;
- Excellent knowledge of Office, especially Excel;
- Interest and good knowledge of polymer and polymer processing especially considering PP and its composites (preferred);
- Knowledge of the most common tools used for polymer characterization: analytical tests (IR, DSC, DMA,...) and mechanical tests (preferred);
- Basic knowledge of polymer molding: injection molding, extrusion, blow molding (preferred).
