Junior Planning Specialist
The Junior Planning Specialist, reporting to the Planning Office Manager will be in charge of the production scheduling of one or more plants, work order issuance, and materials management.
Main Activities:
- Schedules the production of EMEA manufacturing plants using advanced IT tools (SAP and APS) to meet orders transmitted by the commercial function; optimizes the succession and size of lots, while managing warehouse stocks according to company guidelines and directives.
- Releases individual batch processing sheets optimizing formulations according to material availability and finished product characteristics, managing inventory stocks with attention to FIFO logic.
- Orders the recovery of raw materials/semi-finished/slow moving/non-conforming finished products.
- Collaborates with sales department to manage inventories for specific finished goods.
- Enters machine sheets into system.
Requirements of the position:
- High school diploma or bachelor's degree with a technical scientific focus;
- Good English language skills, both writing and speaking;
- 0-3 years of experience;
- Good knowledge of Office, especially Excel;
- Good knowledge of the principles of operating a Data Base;
- Familiarity and aptitude in the use of computer tools and applications.
